Burchell's Bush Lodge

Burchell's is a self-catering BUSH LODGE situated in a wildlife reserve on the border of the Kruger National Park and the Sabi Sabi conservancy and only 200 metres drive to the Skukuza entrance. There is an abundant variety of birds, animals and reptiles on the property and are regularly visited by Hyena and Leopards on an occasion, however these visits are mainly active in the evening and early mornings. The property is shared with the Protea Hotel and the hotel serves a buffet breakfast with an a la carte lunch menu which is served on the deck. In the evenings the hotel serves a buffet dinner in the open air Boma with Shangaan Dancers on Saturday evenings - booking in advance is advisable. There is a tuck shop at the hotel, which stocks some cool drinks, ice, charcoal and curios. The closest supermarkets are Woolworths Food Hall and Spar, which are in Nelspruit at the Crossing Center. Alternatively there is a Pick n’ Pay / Spar / Checkers in Hazeyview.
